Harlem’s American Gangster is the seventh mixtape by American hip hop recording artist Jim Jones released to digital retailers on February 19, 2008 under Koch Records. The album peaked at number three on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and number one on the Top Rap Albums chart. The Koch CD was remixed and remastered from a limited edition release that came out the previous November. There was also a change in the track list, with some tracks added and others omitted. The mixtape is hosted by Dame Dash and features the entire ByrdGang crew. “Love Me No More” was released as a single but didn’t reach any major Billboard charts. Continue reading

Stack Bundles rapper out of Far Rockaway, Queens, NYC. On June 11, 2007 the hip-hop world lost one of its rising stars in Rayquon Elliott, the New York rapper was making his mark on the game when his dream of rap stardom was cut short at the young age of 24. He loved his hood & his team. Stack rose to fame in 2005 thanks to his mixtape work with DJ Clue, which includes Rap Makeover VOL.1 and Biddin‘ War, just to name a few. That eventually caught the attention of Jim Jones, who signed the rap rookie to his ByrdGang crew in 2006. Also heading up his own team, The Riot Squad, what made Stack Bundles an endearing figure was his passion for hip-hop and appreciation for his fans.

Hustler’s P.O.M.E. (Product of My Environment) is the third studio album by Jim Jones. The album was released on November 7, 2006, in the United States, under Diplomats Records and Koch Records. The album features guest appearances by Cam’Ron, Juelz Santana, Hell Rell, Jha Jha, Lil’ Wayne, Stack Bundles, Max B and R&B singer Rell.
The album’s first single “We Fly High” was released October 21, 2006. The single reached number five on the Billboard Hot100 making it the rapper’s highest charting single to date. Another single, “Emotionless” was released on March 21, 2007. Koch Records re-released an expanded edition of the album on August 28, 2007, featuring previously unreleased tracks such as “Lookin‘ At The Game”, which features Stack Bundles & Lil’ Wayne.
The album debuted at number 6 on the Billboard 200, with first week sales of 106,000 copies in the United States.

Max B collaborated on the ByrdGang mixtape M.O.B. (Members Of ByrdGang) released on July 7, and made several feature appearances on Jim Jones‘ mixtape The Seven Day 7heory released on September 27.
In 2006, Max B became embroiled in legal trouble when he was arrested on September 29 in connection to a botched robbery turned homicide that occurred in Fort Lee, New Jersey, allegedly involving his “on-again off-again girlfriend” Gina Conway and step-brother Kevin Leerdem. While away, Max B had already recorded several feature appearances on Jim Jones‘ third album Hustler’s P.O.M.E. which was released in November. In addition to writing for Jones on other tracks, most notably its lead single and Jim Jones‘ highest-charting single to date “We Fly High” which was released on October 21.
