Max B’s latest work with Dipset / Byrdgang, After having spent 10 months imprisoned, Max B was released on July 11, 2007 on a reported $2 million in bail. Short of funds, portion of Max’s bond was raised by selling his publishing over to his label owned by Jim Jones. It would eventually go on to become one of many grievances and disputes Max B would share with his former labelmate and head Jim Jones. Max B’s fourth mixtape Public Domain: The Prequel was released later in the month following his release from prison. Max B collaborated on the ByrdGang mixtape M.O.B. (Members Of ByrdGang) released on July 7, and made several feature appearances on Jim Jones‘ mixtape The Seven Day 7heory released on September 27.
In 2006, Max B became embroiled in legal trouble when he was arrested on September 29 in connection to a botched robbery turned homicide that occurred in Fort Lee, New Jersey, allegedly involving his “on-again off-again girlfriend” Gina Conway and step-brother Kevin Leerdem. While away, Max B had already recorded several feature appearances on Jim Jones‘ third album Hustler’s P.O.M.E. which was released in November. In addition to writing for Jones on other tracks, most notably its lead single and Jim Jones‘ highest-charting single to date “We Fly High” which was released on October 21.

Harlem: Diary Of A Summer is the second studio Album by American hip hop recording artist Jim Jones. The album was released on August 23, 2005 in the United States, under Diplomats Records and Koch Records. The first single from Harlem: Diary Of A Summer is “Baby Girl”. The single didn’t chart on the Billboard hot 100, but it did manage to peak at #58 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. The follow-up single, “Summer Wit Miami”, peaked at #78 on the same chart. The album debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 with 74,000 copies sold in the first week of release, making it the rapper’s highest-peaking album to date.

Ezekiel Giles (born October 13, 1975), better known by his stage name Freekey Zekey, is an African-American rapper and music executive. He is best known as a founding member of The Diplomats and as Owner/CEO of 730 Dips Records. He is also a member of fellow rapper Jim Jones Byrdgang. Freekey Zekey has made a habit of yelling his name in songs; it is his signature on tracks, whether he is featured or the sole artist. He is the cousin of Dipset leader Cam’Ron. Freekey Zekey was shot on April 25, 2003, but has since recovered. Freekey Zekey spent almoars in jail at Durham Correctional Center in Durham, NC on drug charges before being released on November 20, 2006.
